Senior Portrait Session by Brenda Kerns

SENIOR PORTRAIT SESSION ON LOCATION AT ROYAL AMERICAN LINKS

I know that many high school guys aren’t thrilled about having their portraits taken.  This was the case with Big Walnut High School senior, Austin Schone.  The one thing making it more bearable for him was photographing on location at Royal American Links golf course in Galena, Ohio.  Finding time to photograph him wasn’t easy either!  But we squeezed in time between his golf camps, his golf practice and his college visits.

Although it was a typically hot and humid summer day, Austin willingly (?) put on a dress shirt and tie and long pants for some photos that mom’s love before getting more comfortable in his golf attire.  And since we were photographing on a golf course, we HAD to have a photo of a wedge shot out of a sand trap.  I know that’s not something golfers like to do, but it makes for awesome photos!

As we neared the end of our session, Austin perked up. . . just knowing that he would be golfing with his friends soon was enough to make him smile.  I look forward to reading about your fall golf season with Big Walnut High School this year.   Thank you, both Austin and mom, Naomi, for choosing Caught My Eye Photography of Columbus for your 2017 Senior Portrait Session!
